10 Asian Liquors Most Likely To Give You The Creeps

As most of you already know, we like to cover other alcohol and industry information every once in a while besides cognac. Today is one of those days. Cognac is one of the finest drinks in the world, there certainly is no doubt about that. But it certainly doesn’t have that weird element to it and we are glad it doesn’t. While we were browsing the web to find some unusual drinks we came across a site and we were pretty shocked to see these drinks. We have included some of the images of these drinks below and trust us, you will find these quite shocking.

All these drinks are made in Asia and are said to have health benefits. Pretty much all the descriptions were similar as the content inside the bottles were farm raised and are believed to have many different health benefits. If you would like to purchase one of these drinks please check out the source link at the bottom. Once again, be prepared cause when we say “it likely will give you the creeps,” we aren’t joking ;-) .

  1. Dinh Trong Nghia says:

In Asia, people call those spirit as medicine-liquors.

Some of those spirits have been considered as Asian traditional medicines. They are really good for health.

    - Numbers 1, 5, 6 and 9: suitable for men older than 50 years old. Young man, especially youngers than 30yo, should not drink snake-preserved liquor. Those spirits can be used to treat articulation (patella and more) and bone pain.

    - Number 2 for external use only, not for drinking (don’t use on chapped skin areas (skin over).

    - Number 4 is really good for man sexual health (helping man stronger, enduringer in sexual life). Snake-liquor has the same effect, however it is suitable for older man.

    - Number 3 is used for demonstrating or displaying, not really for health benefits.

    - Number 7 and 10: also considered as a good drink for man sexual health; some good effects for bones and liver; also for external use.

  6. Ryan says:

I might try the cobra one, and maybe the wine. Just wondering what happens to the venom in all these happy little creatures.

    5. Herbal Snake Whiskey
    looks delicious!

  8. Kike says:

    This is sick, poor animals!

  9. Danny A says:

I would totally drink all of them.

not the actual animals obviously, but the drinks might be great!

  10. Anon says:

What the hell is wrong with people who drink these things? Are they not satisfied with drinking distilled fermented fruits and cereals? What’s next, a human head in a bottle of vodka?
    Please, this is ridiculous.

  11. Paddlacus says:

I had something with two venomous snakes in it in Japan. It was from Okinawa, and along with the regular burn of very high-proof alcohol, it also tingled in a venom-y way.
I would hope there are health benefits, because other than the awesome picture I have of two snakes in a bottle, it tasted pretty awful.

  12. Bucky says:

Crazy. I don’t know if I’d be able to handle this stuff. haha
@Ryan – the venom probably breaks down over time/from being bottled.

@Anon, these drinks aren’t anything new, they’ve probably been around for a while. & you don’t put human heads in bottles of vodka, you pickle them!

  13. Dahveed says:

Why you should always call your brand at an asian bar – don’t drink the house stuff.

Think I’ll pass on these no doubt very special liquors.

  14. Not my Asia says:

Each photo had a label “Thailand Unique”.

These drinks are not representative of all Asia. Please change the title to, “Ten THAI liquors…” so as not to paint the rest of Asia with the same brush.

  15. I must say this definitely freaks me out. I would never drink any of these. I also agree with Anon.

  19. Chowbella says:

I’m curious, what would you do with the bodies after you drink the liquor? They seem too cool to throw away. Also, I have an aversion to insects with more than 8 legs–that giant centipede whisky gives me heebie-jeebies.

@Hugh Jorgan: “Those Asians always have some screwed up shyte”? How about YOU drink some antifreeze and spare the rest of us your ignorance?
