BNIC Brings An Interactive Guide To Cognac

BNIC Brings An Interactive Guide To Cognac

As most of you already know we are not affiliated with BNIC or the cognac region itself. We talk about cognac simply because we love the drink and the rich history that surrounds it. If you don’t know what BNIC (Bureau National Intreprofessional du Cognac) is, here is the description from their site in their own words “An interprofessional organization entrusted with public service missions, the Bureau National Interprofessional du Cognac (BNIC) acts on behalf of all the Cognac growers and firms of the region of production.” BNIC is a private institution financed by the Cognac professionals. According to the site, the mission of BNIC is “To develop and promote Cognac, representing the best interests of all Cognac professionals including growers, merchants and members of other activities related to Cognac trade.”

That was a brief introduction to BNIC for those of you who don’t know. Please click on the link to learn more about BNIC.

Although we cover quite a bit when it comes to cognac, we still want you to check out the official site. They recently launched a new site which contains an interactive guide to cognac. To many who are well known with Cognac drink and region, the information may not be very useful but we still suggest you check it out. The site is available in three languages.
