Ludacris : Conjure Cognac Coming To a Liquor Store Near You

Hip-hop artist Christopher Bridges aka Ludacris isn’t waiting quietly for his new cognac line to go popular. He is making sure the message goes out to as many people as possible about his new cognac called Conjure. In June, we wrote an article on Ludacris launching his new cognac, Conjure and since then the hip-hop star has been working hard on his new business venture. Ludacris recently appeared in one of the most popular late night TV show, The Jay Leno Show to talk about his new venture.The show wasn’t really dedicated to Ludacris’ drink Conjure, but the rapper made sure to pitch when he had the opportunity. When Jay Leno asked him what his favorite drink was, the singer got his new bottle of Conjure cognac out and pitched in saying it will soon be available in liquor store near you. African Americans comprise anywhere between 60%-80% of the total American Cognac Market. In 2007-2008 America imported 51.7 million bottles so even if 60% of that was consumed by African Americans thats a whopping 31.2 million bottles of cognac. There is certainly a market for cognac in US as it is one of the hottest cognac market.

Conjure is a collaboration between the hip-hop artist Ludacris and the famed cognac house Birkedal Hartmann. The company is based in Cognac region, France and has offices in Miami, Florida and Oslo, Norway. Conjure is made from the ugni blanc grape from blends that represent a variety of Cognac regions, including, among others, Grand Champagne, Petite Champagne, and Borderie.
