Would You Like a Bottle Of Frozen Rémy Martin?

Would You Like a Bottle Of Frozen Rémy Martin?

Looks like the cognac brands are pushing hard to change the age old notion that cognac isn’t something you drink as cocktails or chilled. You will hear us say quite often that we are a bunch of cognac lovers who like to drink cognac the way it is. However, we wouldn’t mind trying out the frozen Remy Martin just to see how it would pan out as compared to the way we are used to drinking it. The Remy Martin VSOP Frozen was trialled three years ago and now it’s being rolled out to many major airports. Currently you can find the Remy Martin VSOP Frozen at major airports in Abu Dhabi, Argentina, Canada, Germany, Singapore and US among other high visibility airports. This move isn’t surprising as the brand wants to get this new product out right in time for the holiday season.

The Remy Martin VSOP Frozen is avilable at these major airports and is served at -18ºC (0ºF). If you happen to be any of these airports you will probably see the Remy Ice Box ready to serve you some chilled cognac. According to Laurent Cosson, Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail marketing manager,

The Rémy Ice Boxx is creating a real buzz in the stores as customers share a new tasting experience. Freezing the Rémy Martin VSOP enhances the aromatic smoothness of the cognac giving it an entirely different and very exciting profile. We are suggesting to consumers that they can enjoy Rémy Martin VSOP frozen, neat or with a selection of mixers and fruit juices.

We are sure more brands will be making this push to reinvent the market and generate a wider appeal from drinkers.
