Domaine De Canton

For ten generations, the Dobbé family has been crafting exceptional cognacs in Salignac-sur-Charente, a small village near the town of Cognac in France. The family’s vineyard estate primarily covers the Petite Champagne area, which is one of the most prestigious and extensive crus in Charente. The family’s history with cognac dates back to 1787 when their ancestors acquired a few acres of vines, which gradually produced their first cognacs. The family has since had ten generations of passionate wine growers and distillers who have passed down their savoir-faire in producing prestigious eaux-de-vie. The Dobbé family owns a vineyard estate of 35 hectares, with a majority of 2/3 located on the sunny hills of Petite Champagne, a prestigious cru in AOC, producing smooth eaux-de-vie. The remaining third is situated in Dompierre in Fins Bois, which yields full-bodied, supple eaux-de-vie with a bouquet that evokes pressed grapes.
