Braastad Cognac, born from the 1875 founding of Maison Tiffon in Jarnac, France, weaves a tale of Norwegian-French heritage through Sverre Braastad, who married into the Tiffon family in 1913 and took the helm post-World War I. Nestled along the Charente River at the Château de Triac, this family-run estate spans 40 hectares across Grande Champagne and Fins Bois, crafting Cognacs from vine to bottle with traditional methods. Under cellar master Richard Braastad, the house produces a celebrated range—VS, VSOP, XO, and beyond—known for floral, fruity notes and oak-kissed complexity, aged in Limousin barrels.
