A pioneer in e-commerce, Gwilym founded one of the world’s largest online medical supply businesses in the 1990s, which he sold to private equity investors in 2006. He later co-founded and led a consumer precious metals e-commerce company, scaling it to over $230 million in profitable online retail sales before selling it to a publicly traded company in 2022.

In the entertainment industry, Gwilym served as Senior Vice President of Retail Business Development and Product Development at Warner Bros. Consumer Products. There, he crafted retail marketing strategies for iconic brands like Looney Tunes, Batman, and Harry Potter, driving sales for the studio’s multi-billion-dollar licensed merchandise portfolio. He also acted as a key studio liaison to the AOL Time Warner Global Marketing Solutions Group and was a member of the studio’s Integrated Marketing Team. Additionally, as President of Art Impressions Inc. in Calabasas, California, Gwilym specialized in creating and licensing lifestyle and entertainment brands.
