Guy Pinard & Fils is a pioneering family-owned cognac house based in Foussignac, within the Fins Bois cru of France’s Charente region, celebrated as the first to produce organic cognac. Founded in 1969 by Guy Pinard and his father George, the estate—Domaine de la Tour Vert—spans 22 hectares and has been in the family for over ten generations, with roots tracing back to the 17th century. Converting fully to organic farming under Ecocert certification, they craft their VS, VSOP, Napoleon, and XO expressions, including rare Folle Blanche-based cognacs, using traditional methods and Ugni Blanc grapes from chalky soils. Now led by Chantal Pinard and her son Jean-Baptiste, a skilled vintner and cellar master, the house blends heritage with sustainability, offering fresh, floral spirits that honor both nature and their avant-garde legacy.
