Le Réviseur Cognac, established in the early 20th century by the Abécassis family in the Petite Champagne region of Cognac, France, is a boutique house celebrated for its single-estate philosophy and meticulous craftsmanship. Sourced exclusively from the family’s 250-hectare Domaines Francis Abécassis vineyards near La Rochefoucauld, its eaux-de-vie are distilled on the lees in small copper stills, then aged in French oak barrels in humid cellars, yielding a floral, fruity profile with hints of violet and spice. Part of the broader ABK6 portfolio since 2005, Le Réviseur offers expressions like VS and XO, with its XO Single Estate earning praise for its elegance and balance.
