Memory: Rémy Cointreau signs an agreement to acquire the Larsen Cognac Company

PARIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Regulatory News:

Rémy Cointreau (Paris:RCO) announces that it has signed an agreement to acquire the entire share capital of Larsen, the Vikings’ Cognac.

Founded in 1926, Larsen is one of the last independent cognac producers, with a unique range of rare and prestigious products. Over three generations, the company has built up inventories of aged eaux-de-vie which enables it to guarantee the quality of its production and optimise its purchasing power.

In a press release dated 31 October 2012, it was announced that Rémy Cointreau had entered into exclusive negotiations with a view to acquire the share capital of Larsen.
